Creamy Shrimp Asparagus Pasta
Ingredients:
- 1 pound linguine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into bite-size pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook linguine according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, for about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic to the same skillet and cook for 30 seconds, then add asparagus and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour white wine into the skillet with asparagus and garlic. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes until the wine has reduced by half.
- Pour heavy cream into skillet. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently for about 2 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain the linguine and add it to the skillet, tossing to combine with the shrimp and asparagus.
- Serve immediately, garnished with more Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
Creamy Shrimp and Asparagus Soup

- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken stock

- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
